Disappointing to hear that news about the former Father Dale. Just an FYI, LifeTeen has sent out new directives in the last couple of years to get the Mass in line with the GIRM. Of course, you still need a cooperative YM and community to put the changes in place. At St. Mark's the music ministry has incoroporated some more traditional songs (not usually good ones, but whatever) along with the other music. The Curt Jester makes some valid points, but I think it is hard to paint a broad picture when so much is determined by the resident music ministry and priest. As for my experience in LT, I was disappointed that there was not more substance to some of the life nights. That is supposedly changing, although I was not able to keep my commitment to participate in life nights, so I don't know what that means. I'm at odds with most traditional conservative Catholics regarding the music, so I tend to keep my thoughts to myself. I think music speaks to people and helps them enter a mindset conducive to worship. What kind of music that is varies. We can't please everyone, nor should we always try. We're fortunate at our parish that people have a choice (although I don't know if the music is what makes people attend the other Masses). Anyway, I'm not educated enough to make real arguments about this, just have my own opinions.
Bobcat: 11 yrs old -While he might be small, he makes up for it with a very outgoing personality.
Bubba: 10 yrs old -To capture his heart, you must enter through his stomach... and be prepared with large quantities!
Snookie: 9 yrs old -Have you ever seen a baby llama take its first few steps... that's my Snookie, his body is always one growth spurt ahead of his brain.
