I might have to stop reading the blog until y'all are back and have posted pictures and stopped talking about it. Because I don't want to be guilty of envy. :) Have fun!
I'm sure you guys will get to do the same before long. As far as vacations go, we are really pretty cheap. We won't be visiting any "attractions" that require tickets. Not buying many souvenirs, maybe some new $5 T-shirts. We also only eat out once or twice. We buy groceries (which we'd have to do anyway) and cook our meals at the house. Even on the road, we don't stop at McDonald's, we have home made sandwiches at a rest stop/picnic area. And we usually only stay three or four days, but we got to stay a whole week this year because the early booking special was 40% off and tax free. The nightly rate for a three-bedroom house is going to be aout the same as a decent hotel room. Two tanks of gas, which will fortunately be cheaper this year than they were last year. I know we're lucky, especially these days, to have even a little extra for fun stuff, but we are definitely budget vacationers.
I know we will eventually go on vacations. And really, with a baby in tow, it is easier to just chill at home. I just have a desperate craving for a beach in my life.
Bobcat: 11 yrs old -While he might be small, he makes up for it with a very outgoing personality.
Bubba: 10 yrs old -To capture his heart, you must enter through his stomach... and be prepared with large quantities!
Snookie: 9 yrs old -Have you ever seen a baby llama take its first few steps... that's my Snookie, his body is always one growth spurt ahead of his brain.
