There are many examples when people (particularly in American parishes) get a bit carried away and lose the proper sense of respect and decorum.
However, I did a little research about this man and his order (the Missionaries of the Poor). You might like to know about it. I found it inspiring.
It's always a good idea to keep in mind that what is frowned upon (or liturgically forbidden) in one culture is regarded very differently in another. Something to consider.
Oooh, a reprimand. We're nothing if not controversial and insensitive over here. I did google that priest and read up on his order. I'm sure they do wonderful work for the poor in those Caribbean countries. But some things transcend cultures, and bad music is one of them.
